MSI P55A-GD65 Conclusion:

This mainboard is basically the same as the P55-GD85 with only one VRM heatsink, one LAN port and no voltage measuring points. The other features and layout and are the same. It is a lot chaper though. A PLX chip for SATA3 drives and USB3 devices is still present.

This mobo comes with a VRM, called DrMOS, with ten phases, 8 for the CPU (Vcore) and 2 for the integrated memory controller (VTT rail). The manufacturer promises an efficiency up to 96%, an increase of 38% over the traditional design.

Compared to:

This motherboard was not compared to another board and no benchmarks were tested.

Overclocking:

The reviewers did not perform any overclocking, they give a summary of the OC options and OC Genie on a dedicated page.
