MSI E350IA-E45 Reviews

April 15 2011 review by ixbtlabs

MSI E350IA-E45 This mobo has a good set of features. Four SATA3 connectors make it a nice foundation for a HTPC, home server or a shared storage PC. USB3 lets you use the highest-speed external devices today. The fan controls could be better, installing a custom cooler will void the warranty, because the panel is pressed into the heatsink.

Benchmarks:

The motherboard doesn't allow overclocking the processor. It only lets you adjust memory frequency and timings.

MSI E350IA-E45 This cheap, Space-saving, mini-desktop cannot be compared to a 'real desktop' computer, especially in gaming, on the other hand the AMD APU is sufficient for office use and surfing the web. The power consumption is app. the same as a laptop, and it generates virtually no heat.

Benchmarks Tested:

3D Mark 2006, 7zip, AIDA64, Cinebench, Power Consumption, Resident Evil V, SuperPi, Temperature testing, Winrar.
