Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD4

This mobo is a very good mainboard with lots of features. Benchmark performance numbers were great throughout the testing. The reviewers would certainly recommmend this board given the overall features and performance.

Benchmarks:

AMD CrossFireX Scaling, Futuremark 3D Mark 2011, Network Throughput, NVIDIA SLI Scaling, Power Consumption , RightmarkAudio Analyzer, SATA 6 GB/s Testing, SiSoft Sandra 2011c, USB3 Testing.

Compared To:

ASUS P8P67, ASUS P8P67 Deluxe, ECS P55H-AK, ECS P67H2-A, MSI P67A-GD65.

Test Setup:

  • Computer Case : Open Test Bench
  • CPU : Intel Core i5 2500K
  • CPU Heatsink : Thermalright Venomous X
  • SSD : Kingston SSDnow 96GB
  • Mainboard : Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD4
  • PSU : Corsair TX750
  • RAM : 8gb Corsair Vengeance CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9
  • Video Card XFX Radeon HD 6950

Overclocking:

An Intel Core i5 2500K was OCed @ 4.963GHz.

Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD4 This mobo overall is a balance between the budget boards and the fully featured models. It's capable of high performance but the BIOS is still immature and frustrates the overclocking proces.

Test Setup:

  • Graphics Cards : 2x ASUS GeForce GTX 570 and an ATI Radeon HD 5970
  • Memory : Corsair Dominator GTX2 DDR3-2250MHz
  • Operating Systems : Windows XP x86 SP3 and Windows 7 64 bit SP1
  • Processor : Intel Core i7 2600K

Benchmarks:

3D Mark 2001, 3D Mark 2003, 3D Mark 2005, 3D Mark 2006, 3D Mark 2011, 3D Mark Vantage, Aquamark 3, PiFast, SuperPi, Unigine Heaven Extreme, wPrime.

Overclocking:

A Core i7 2600K was OCed @ 5232.5MHz.
