GeForce 8200 is an 'older' chipset for AMD socket AM2+/AM3 and the successor of the the GeForce 7025/7050PV and nForce 610/630a chipsets. It has HyperTransport 3.0 that can handle up to Up to 5200 MT/s. The max number of USB 2.0 ports is twelve, but the M4N78-AM only has ten. The chipsets can support 2 PATA drives and six SATA 3.0Gbps connectors, but the M4N78-AM has only four SATA connectors with raid and jobd support.

The GeForce 8200 IGP has a 500MHz core clock and 16 stream processors running at 1200MHz with Hybrid SLI support.
