If you are looking for an (extreme) budget board with all the main functions and onboard graphics this board is a good choice, if you consider the value for money.

When you plan to upgrade your system in future with a better CPU and perhaps a PCI express graphics card we would certainly not recommend this board.

Overclocking didn't reach high values, even though this board has settings for vCore voltage and chipset voltage we couldn't even squeeze 10% extra speed out of it.

Our last remark concerns the memory, if you have to buy new DDR2 memory it's perhaps better to buy DDR3 memory wich is about the same price as DDR2 memory and spend $30/40.- more on a motherboard, the extras you'll get in overall performance are certainly worth it.

Pros:

  • Low Price.

Cons:
  • Bad overclocker.
  • No support for CPUs that require a high TDP (Thermal Design Power: 125 -- 140 watts).
  • No PCI express 2.0.
